I'd never get bored waking up to this view. I tend to shoot a lot while I'm traveling and with #GalaxyZFold3 having 3 rear cameras - Ultra wide, wide and telephoto I didn't have to worry about taking my professional camera to places like this where its hard to carry heavy gear.

😡I CAN'T, I just can't handle this.

During my visit of architecturally amazing Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque I took the audio guide to know more... And it was a mistake, as since than my vision of Oman was not that positive.

So what happened.
As first you visit amazing mosque park and then you enter praying room for women. Where after description of the design details, audio guide make a note that separated rooms are needed that women do not feel unconformable in the presence of men.
Honestly I understand that intention and why not, UNTIL...
Until I entered main praying room...
for MEN ONLY (women can visit it during hours for tourists)...
And guide informed that on Friday it is not just praying but also are discussed social, economic and cultural needs and issues...

My immediate thoughts: By men only... women are not allowed to enter this room at that time, so it means women CAN NOT BE PART OF A SOLUTION...
SO HOW HOW IT IS POSSIBLE TO COVER the EXCLUSION OF HALF OF POPULATION FROM CONTRY LIFE WITH SOMETHING LIKE "feeling uncomfortable in presence of another half of population".

Bulshit😡

In the taking decision about social question every group has to be represented.
And if women will be represented in this process maybe (sorry for imitate details) but I had no problem to find a ladies wc during my trip there.
When only in few key touristic destinations and shopping malls (where women spend the most time there, from my aspiration) there are few ladies wc.

But step out of small central area, even on the section of LADIES TAILORING on a bazar all ladies WC closed if exist.
And simply no ladies WC on most of gas stations.

😡This is was huge observation about exclusion and discriminations of women from this society....And i can't handle it.
It is not about religion or culture, but rather common sense.

A closer glimpse inside the men’s prayer hall at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, which houses an epically grand Italian chandelier and hand-knotted Persian rug that took 400+ people over 4 years to produce.

At their creation, both were the largest in the world. However, recently United Arab Emirates & Qatar have vied to surpass this size. The current record holders are on display 500km away at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

Wadi Shab is all about adventurous hiking, deep canyon, emerald water and waterfall in a cave. If you want to experience the miracle of nature, then surely this is the place.

Experiences through Wadi Shab journey:

-Crossing a small river by boat
-Walking along the palm groves and on rugged rocky cliffs
-Looking at height of the canyon will totally amaze anyone
-Reaching emerald pools. There are three connected pools
-Swimming to the last pool to witness the waterfall

Few things to pack :

-Food and lots of water
-Flip flops or waterproof shoes to wear in the pools
-Sunscreen
-Camera & Water proof bag - A must

Important note :

-To reach the last pool, one needs to be a good swimmer who can stay afloat in deep water for 10 mins atleast
-Women to wear modest swimwear. Please be respectful and courteous to Omani culture
